We strongly believe in operating a low impact, environmentally sustainable business.
To that end, we do not believe in the importation of timber. Instead, we utilise the cord wood & arb ‘waste’ we remove from the woodlands & day to day operations to supply our firewood business.
Woodland Management for our Firewood
We specialize in woodland management, enhancing biodiversity through selective thinning programs. Using a low-impact Valtra tractor, we extract timber sustainably and offer advice on government grants. Our approach prioritizes minimal environmental impact, with timber processed locally.
Seasoning and drying take place in our well-located yard, ensuring high-quality fuel production. Customers are encouraged to order in advance for a steady supply, preventing last-minute rushes and allowing proper wood seasoning in their log stores.
With a 30-tonne splitter, we efficiently process timber, leaving no waste. Our commitment lies in sustainable practices, aligning commercial interests with environmental stewardship.
We deliver within a defined area of approximately 20 miles from our yard near Bath.
